Senators want to make CIA release 9/11 report
Let’s see… 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 years and eight months after September 11, 2001, the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States has released not a single page of its internal documents on one of the largest-scale domestic or foreign terrorist attacks on US soil (see Senators want to make CIA release 9/11 report
Office has not publicized any of its internal documents on the attack).
Certainly the violent attacks on American soil that occured on 9/11 are the most recent ones and the most impacting to life in America today and to the lives of many many people around the world. One could say that violence from Asian Pacific Islands to Darfur have some connection to 9/11 and to what happened in US political and military policy before, on and after 9/11.
National and global security have significantly changed for the worse in the past five years. Civil liberties in the United States have been injured. Multi-Billions of dollars have been spent, innocent people incarcerated and tortured… nearly 6,000 US citizens are dead and tens of thousands more have been severely injured (9/11 and War in Iraq and Afphganistan) — Iraqi citizen casualties and injuries dwarf these numbers — and the CIA has yet to reveal anything at all, nor has Congress asked or demanded, untill now?
Funny, just today I was surfing around some web sites and happened upon an article at From the Wilderness which reveales some interesting information about the CIA as well as British and Pakistani intelligence agencies pre- and post-9/11.
