Should there be a 22nd Democratic Presidential Primary Debate between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton? In truth it would be the 21.5th debate given what happened in the last one.
Hillary is pretending that Barack is not up to the fight if he doesn’t agree to another Clinton Circus stunt.
But just today on barackobama.com some brilliant supporter brought forth a brilliant idea. Let there be a Debate 22 but there will be a catch (pun intended):
Obama should consider one last Superdelegate Democratic Debate. The commentators should be superdelegates like Al Gore, Donna Brasil, John Edwards and maybe even a Republican like Colin Powell. These are people who would ask serous and fair questions about issues that effect our country and you. Instead of non-sense questions like why don’t you wear a flag pin. The network commentator should only be there to manage the event and not allowed to ask any questions.
I like how we’re thinking here! The only thing that will happen is that Clinton will argue that the superdelegate commentators are biased against her and that her team should get to select some of the panel. If this happens we can possibly look forward to Joe Lieberman and a couple of others who haven’t shunk out of sight from their early public Clinton endorsements. We also might see more Repubs. of the devious nature.
Generally I say “no more debates” but if there must be another one, it better be the one of this new idea.
