The credit/mortgage mess will be studied as the ruse to distract attention and derail truth from exposing and stopping the prolonged colossal error of invading and occupying Iraq. I’ve said it.

The politicians and the corporations conspired to try and cover-up their phenomenal mess in Iraq with bogus money, a house of cards and we all either went along or have been carried along. Were the loans the equivalent to Germany’s pre-Nazi financial schemes? I’m not one to know for sure, but hopefully someone with much more knowledge than I will study this.

“At the heart of our economic and financial problems is the housing downturn,” said Mark Zandi, chief economist with Moody’s Economy.com.

Not so fast with the smoke and mirrors, Mr. Zandi. The heart of our troubles is our failure in alternative energy and infrastructure which led to the invasion and occupation of Iraq.
