Here’s a new game we’re going to try on AltBrothers called “Wassup?” or What is up? We play Wassup? by analyzing short bits be they statements made by public officials or events of importance on local, regional, national and international levels.
Our first game piece is the Associated Press’ subject in the January 11, 2006 news:
“Bush Open to Hearings on Domestic Spying (AP)”
So, let’s play Wassup?! I’ll start.
Ok we have someone placed into the office of national leader whome (with his administration) we’ve caught trampling over the U.S. Constitution to spy on citizens who we’ve presumed were endowed with the right to privacy and other rights.
Now for the subject itself. “Bush Open to Hearings…” This statement seems to put weight in the opinion of the placed office holder. The weight given to the opinion of a non-elected person and possible law-breaker is so heigh as to suggest that the person’s feelings on being investigated for his and his administration’s possible wrong-doing are of consequence. They are not. So the Wassup? is “What Bush is or is not open to, is of no value. The investigations will (and rightfully should) begin, with or without him.”
