What is this? WHAT IS THIS???!!!
Haven’t we seen this “The Martin” building box already? It’s the Cristalla without it’s awkward corner and its beautiful historically preserved base. It’s the ever “Now Renting” McGuire with a little more a little bluer glass. But it is also total warfare against imaginative stimuli for us who will have to look at it from the outside. Is it as someone said “a case of an architect just hoping to get paid and a developer who just cares about square footage”? It sure looks like it.
What a box. What a bulky UNinspiring box! Is this what we get because we’ve taken ART out of the classroom? This design must not get built in this city.
