Honor they fathers and mothers…
As a gay man with no biological children of my own, I’ve enjoyed moments of “parenthood”. I spent the summers of 1987, ‘88, and ‘89 parenting young campers. And now I have nieces and nephews who need more adult figures (and adult male figures in particular) in their lives to help them grow up — in other words parenting. It isn’t the easiest thing to do over long distances, but such must be done.
So, to all of us gay and bisexual pan-African men who are parenting, uncleing, brothering in our own ways… Happy Gay/Bi Father’s Day!
