It really really hurts to have lost the Seattle Monorail plan. Guys are probably thinking, “What’s up with that? Get over it, man!” It’s difficult but I’m trying. Maybe looking at other cities in the Pacific Northwest that are doing it right (albeit not with monorail) will cheer me up.

Seattle Monorail Stopped

It looks like the Seattle Monorail Project is at the end. It’s sad
but the voters who voted said what they wanted and that’s it. The
city still needs grade seperate rapid transit linking West Seattle
north to downtown and downtown north to Ballard.
No one presented a Plan B, so now we’ll see what they come up with.
